Hofy Prize Draw 2024
These terms and conditions (the “Terms”) apply to Hofy’s Prize Draw 2024. By entering the prize draw, you agree to be bound by the terms.
Terms and conditions
1. This prize draw is run by Hofy Ltd, of registered address: 5 New St Square, Holborn, London, EC4A 3TW, United Kingdom.
2. Entry to the prize draw will commence on 14 March 2024 and end on 21 March 2024 (the “Closing Date”). Any entries outside of this period will not be eligible.
3. To enter the prize draw, individuals should complete the instructions in Hofy’s LinkedIn post, available here. No payment is required to enter.
4. The prize is a pair of Apple Airpods Max. One prize is available. There is no cash or alternative prize, in whole or part. The prize is not transferable and cannot be resold. Hofy Ltd reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value should circumstances outside its control make this necessary.
5. The winner will be randomly selected within 7 days from the Closing Date.
6. The winner will be notified by social media via the account provided at point of entry within 14 days of the Closing Date. The winner will have 14 days from notification to claim their prize. If the winner does not claim their prize within this timeframe, Hofy Ltd reserves the right to withdraw the prize, and will award the prize to a reserve.
7. Hofy Ltd’s decision is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into. Entry implies acceptance of these terms and conditions.
8. You agree that if you are a winner, you will take part in and cooperate fully with reasonable publicity and to the use of your name, photograph and any comments in such publicity without any fee being payable.
9. Hofy Ltd reserves the right to verify winners and ask for proof of identity, age and address and to withdraw prize entitlement where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions.
10. The name of the winner may be obtained by sending an email, 28 days after the Closing Date, to [email protected].
11. It is the responsibility of the entrant to provide correct, up-to-date details for delivery of the prize on acceptance of the prize. Hofy Ltd cannot be held responsible for winners failing to supply accurate information which affects prize acceptance or delivery of their prize.
12. Only one entry per person is permitted. All additional entries will be disqualified.
13. No entries will be accepted from any individuals who reside in territories where this Prize Draw would be unlawful.
14. No third party, corporate or bulk entries are permitted. If it becomes apparent that either a participant or household is using any means to circumvent this condition such as, and without limitation, multiple email accounts, multiple reproduced or computer-generated entries, using multiple identities, fraudulently falsifying data, acting fraudulently or dishonestly in the opinion of Hofy Ltd or otherwise acting in violation of these terms, these participants will be disqualified, and any prize entitlement will be void.
15. Incomplete, illegible, misdirected or late entries will not be accepted. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of delivery or receipt. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are incomplete, lost due to technical reasons, corrupted, delayed, wrongly delivered, or not received for whatsoever reason.
16. Entry into the Prize Draw is at the entrant's sole risk. To the extent permitted by law, the Hofy Ltd does not accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury, costs, expenses or claims (whether in contract, tort or otherwise) suffered by entrants or any third parties arising out of or in connection with Hofy Ltd and/or accepting a prize. Hofy Ltd further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to entrants or any other person relating to or resulting from participation with this Prize Draw save that nothing in these terms and conditions shall act to limit or exclude Hofy Ltd’s liability resulting from its negligence or fraud.
17. Hofy will cover the reasonable cost of postage of the prize to the winner’s address. If Hofy (at its absolute discretion) is not satisfied that postage charges would be reasonable to the address provided, or if the address provided is within any country where it is not reasonably practicable for Hofy to deliver the prize for any other reason, the winner shall be required to designate an alternative address within the United Kingdom for the delivery of the prize. If the winner does not nominate such an address within 7 days of being notified that the original address provided is not suitable, Hofy shall be entitled to draw an alternative winner.
18. Any personal information that entrants share with Hofy Ltd will be kept secure and only used in line with these terms and conditions unless the entrant has opted in to future marketing from Hofy Ltd. By entering the promotion, entrants agree that their information may be used by Hofy Ltd to administer the promotion and winners consent to give their name and county for the winners’ list. 19. Hofy Ltd reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Prize Draw for any reason, and at any time.
20. The Prize Draw and these terms and conditions, and any disputes arising therefrom, shall be subject to English law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh Courts.
