What we built was much more than a laptop procurement service. We built a full suite of lifecycle support services to cover every situation - from a laptop display not working, to offboarding a device anywhere in the world.

Our customers have consistently asked for these services to be available to everyone at their company - not just those who have Hofy devices. And today, we’re making that a reality.

Today, we’re launching the Hofy Asset Tracker - a central hub for every asset within your company - unlocking Hofy’s global services to move, store, support and repair all of your assets and maximize the value you get out of them. 

With this release, all Hofy customers get access to:

  • An asset tracker for all of their devices and peripheral equipment
  • Logistics and support services for any device, anywhere in the world: move, store, repair, support etc. 

There are hundreds of asset trackers out there - so why did Hofy build this?

Our asset tracker is different: it allows you to action real-world services on these items in a single click. Collect, transfer, store, or clear your existing devices across 127 countries from today, with many more services coming!

Better still, everything’s completely automated. Whatever you do with your equipment - repair it, store it, clear it - the Asset Tracker will update automatically, giving you a real-time view of all the equipment in your estate.

Example use case

Say you just acquired a business and, along with it, 100 devices. You bulk upload these devices to the Hofy Asset Tracker, and enrol these devices into our Hardware Support Service.

Within the first few months, 3 devices break and 2 employees resign. We repair all 3 devices within 15 days, and send out loaner devices while they’re being fixed. You store one leaver’s device so you can reuse it at some point, and dispose of the other as it’s almost at the end of its life. All in just a few clicks.

Services for customer owned devices

  • Collection → Easily recover equipment from departing employees globally. Erase device data pre-collection for a secure offboarding.
  • Storage → Easily reuse devices, even when your growth plans are unclear. Collect and store devices for as long as you need, and reuse across 50+ regions.
  • Transfers → Alternatively, efficiently reuse devices by transfering team member to team member (e.g. departing employee → new hire).
  • Clearance → Compliantly dispose of unwanted devices/devices at the end of their useful life, and get cashback on any residual value. Securely delete data to minimize security risk.
