With this service expansion, 90% of all eligible Hofy devices can be reused, saving our customers $100,000s by getting the most out of their assets.
Last month, we launched our Store & Reuse service to help you easily reuse your Hofy devices across regions, and save $10,000s-100,000s by reusing perfectly workable devices instead of constantly issuing new ones.
In this first launch, you could collect Hofy devices from company leavers across 53 countries, store them for as long as you need, and redeliver to new hires anywhere in the UK, US or EEA. See the original announcement for full details.
From today, you’ll still be able to do the above, but you’ll also be able to collect and store devices from the following seven countries, and redeliver them to new hires in the same country.
By storing and reusing devices in-country, you’ll be massively reducing the air miles involved in reusing your devices, and be able to redeliver devices to new hires even more efficiently.
It takes a few seconds to offboard team members from the Hofy platform. Just confirm their address and contact details, select their final day, and opt to collect and store their device for reuse from the device offboarding options.
Then leave all the heavy lifting to us. We’ll collect the device, manage the cleaning, wiping, and repackaging, so the device is fit and ready for reuse. And then store it for as long as you need, to support your hiring plans.
You’ll be able to see and manage all your stored devices on the Hofy platform, in one place. And easily reassign them to new employees on another continent in seconds.
When it comes to re-delivering the device, we can set it up with your organization’s preferred apps and software before shipping, so the device arrives ready-to-use out of the box. And we’ll deliver in 10 working days or less to ensure your new hire on the receiving end can be productive from day one.
With every release, we get closer to our vision of global device reuse. This means one day, you’ll be able to offboard team members anywhere in the world, store their devices for as long as you need, and then teleport their devices - wiped, and ready for a fresh start - to new starters anywhere else in the world.

Guarantee that the data on your devices is permanently and irreversibly destroyed to NIST 800-88 Purge standard. A certificate of completion will be automatically generated and uploaded to the Hofy platform.
